Tusk Lion Trail

This week a number of life-size lion sculptures appeared around the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya and the USA. Each one has been painted by a well known artist, musician or sports person. The aim is to raise money to support community conservation and livelihoods following the pandemic.

The sculptures will be auctioned off by Bonhams and the funds used to help protect lions.

There are 27 in London and I decided to run and visit them all. I started the trail in Bank before proceeding to the West End.

Here are the lions including works by Lee Mack, John Cleese, Matthew Horne and Noel Fielding.
