Comments:

I took today off for the Climate Strike. At 6:45 I went for the first run hoping to do 10 miles. I ran to John's and then we went to the local park which has a 0.5 mile lap. We managed about seven laps and then ran the long way for our coffee and egg butties.

John had to go to work but I carried on and lapped the park another eight times before rounding the morning off with 16 miles in total. I was pleased to get so much done so that I only had a small run left to do.

My legs felt strong and my pacing was even. Running on the grass was really helping my hamstring too.

In the afternoon I attended the Climate Strike march with my daughter and then at 4pm I went out and ran the last four miles. This was a basic out and back towards the M20 and running on pavements again began to make my left knee a bit sore. I may have to get a knee brace to ensure it doesn't get any worse.

My total mileage over the last 20 days is 210 - an average of just over 10 miles a day. For the next ten days I need to average over 25 miles a day to complete the final 255 miles. That said I have just 10 days to go and I am feeling optimistic.
